Appointments

To make an appointment, you need to click here or call our office. Your referring doctor should have filled out a referral slip prior to your scheduled appointment. Under Alabama law, no x-ray can be taken unless you have a prescription from your referring doctor. Some basic information will be needed before an appointment can be made: 

  • Referring doctor

  • Requested procedure (found on referral slip)

  • Patient Name

  • Patient Phone Number

  • Date and time of desired appointment

Walk-in appointments are often available. Please click here or call ahead, we can usually fit you in the same day or following day. Please ensure your referral slip was submitted before your appointment.

 

Elderly Patient Policy

Elderly patients requiring assistance to attend the appointment must have his or her caretaker remain on the premises for the duration of the appointment. If the caretaker accompanies the patient to the appointment, the caretaker must accompany them out of the office.

 

Patients under 16 Years of Age Policy

Patients under 16 years of age should be accompanied to their appointment. Parents are allowed to accompany their child during their appointment, as long as they are not in the same operatory room or in any x-ray exposure area(s). 

Billing & Insurance

Payments 

New Standard Imaging asks for payment at the time of service. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover). . 

 

Dental Insurance 

New Standard is not in-network with Dental insurance carriers.

 

Medical Insurance 

A DDS/MD referral is required for medical claims. New Standard may assist patients with filling out medical health insurance claims for patients receiving medical treatment from a Dental office. Your doctor must provide you with a medical diagnosis code to be entered on your claim form. It is the responsibility of the patient to follow-up with their insurance company. Medical procedures New Standard provides imaging for include but are not limited to Restricted Airway, TMJ, and Oral Surgery.
